Eunhee Kim RN MSN, Chief Executive Officer
Eunhee Kim brings over 15 years of experience in the workers' compensation industry. Her role as a managed care provider and her desire for quality and efficient healthcare prompted her to form, EK Health Management System, a leading managed care company on the West Coast. In 2003, Ms. Kim co-founded DataCare to help corporate clients in coordinating and routing all claim documents for workers' compensation utilization review workflow and document processing.
Dr. Paulo Franca, President and Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Franca has a long and successful track record of developing innovative information technology and services. Prior to co-founding DataCare, Dr. Franca has held various management and development roles including university department chair. Dr. Franca holds numerous patents in information technologies and web-based services and is a lecturer of computer sciences at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He received his doctorate in computer science from UC Berkeley and did undergraduate work in computer science at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Dr. Franca is also the author of a C++ workbook that has been translated into 5 languages.
Mike Allen, Director of Business Development
Prior to joining DataCare, Mike Allen served eight years as Senior Vice President at Guarantee Life Companies where he reported to the Chairman and specialized in solving mission-critical problems. Previously, he served as President of Louis Allen Associates, an international management consulting firm where he led strategic planning and restructuring assignments and marketed the firm's services. As Vice President/General Manager at Majers Corporation (now part of Dun & Bradstreet), Mr. Allen was responsible for selling sophisticated marketing intelligence systems to Fortune 500 companies. He serves on the Board of Directors of Janus of Santa Cruz, a leading substance-abuse treatment center, volunteers for the Taproot Foundation, and served on the Group Insurance committee at LIMRA. Mr. Allen holds a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and an undergraduate degree from University of California at Berkeley.
Mat Malone, Director of Engineering
Mat Malone's extensive experience with database-driven smart documents, workflows, role-based dashboards, and EDI services for medical providers and bill review systems makes him ideal to lead our technology product group. Since 2003, Mr. Malone has been a major contributor to the company's leading-edge SaaS software technology. Mr. Malone holds a BS in computer science from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
